Copper Beech: People’s Trust
Commissioned by Arts Westchester with an NEA Creativity Grant, this site-specific project responded to local history. The atrium-scaled installation incorporated the coffered ceiling and vault of the original bank architecture, repurposed as an arts institution. It also paid tribute to a beloved landmark, a copper beech tree saved from destruction by civic efforts during urban renewal in White Plains.
